Amigo - rediATM scheme changes

From 1 April 2019, Community First Credit Union will be leaving the rediATM scheme. As the Amigo Credit Card is issued by Community First, this means that Amigo cardholders may be charged a direct charge fee when using a rediATM.

Please know that cardholders will be notified on screen if a fee is applicable and can cancel the transaction if they don't wish to proceed.

Amigo cardholders won’t be charged a fee when accessing cash from the ATMs of the major banks. Moreover, this development enables Amigo cardholders to access cash from over 10,000 ATMs across Australia, direct charge free.

What stays the same?

These changes won't impact the ways Amigo cardholders can pay for goods and services. Getting cash out at a supermarket checkout won't change. Plus, with the convenience of tap and go using Visa payWave, and fast payments using your PayID, Amigo cardholders will find there are a number of convenient ways to pay that don't involve the need to access cash at an ATM.

Are there any other changes?

From 1 April 2019, Amigo cardholders won't be able to change their Amigo card PIN at a rediATM. However, if they can remember their current PIN they can still change it using their Amigo mobile app
